The heart of any English pub, we are renowned for the quality and range of our traditional cask ales.
With seven real ales always available on hand pump there is a wide choice for the connoisseur of British beer. Stock ales include Adnams Southwold & Broadsde, Harveys Sussex Best, Goachers Traditional mild & Shepherd Neame Masterbrew. Additionally there are changing guest beers from some of Britain’s many independent brewers. Regularly featured ales include those from Burton Bridge Brewery, Staffordshire, Kents Westerham Brewery, Cottage Brewery in Somerset , Woodfordes of Norfolk & Skinners of Truro and the newly formed Brentwood Brewery
For lager drinkers we offer Bitburger (Germanys No1 selling beer) , Amstel from Holland & Becks Vier
For Stout devotees we offer Guinness in both standard & extra cold forms.
